ANDREW McDERMOTT's first novel, The Tiger Chase, was published in the US in 2002, with the launch in San Diego and a US book tour including LA and Las Vegas. As well as being the author of the Gold Coast Detective Scotty Stephens murder mystery series, he also writes stand alone mystery novels, Flirting with The Moon, speculation fiction, The New Templars, and a children's story called The Last Tiger. Andrew is also the CEO of Publicious Book Publishing.

 

Andrew was born in Nottingham, England. A naturalised Aussie, he has lived on the Queensland Gold Coast since immigrating to Australia in 1989 with his wife, Jane, and two young children. He is a patron and ex-president of the Gold Coast Writers Association, and he currently resides at Kirra Beach.
